I think he should immediately hit all wire transfers to mexico with a 10 percent charge just to start with, then if

needed start closing border crossings for a few days to get the mexican govt to actually police their border. then raise the remittance

charges again if they don't show any actual interest in their responsibilities.

time for serious measures for serious problems..

we know congress will continue to do nothing to actually fix the issues.

god forbid someone takes the problem seriously, unless you think there is no problem of course.

If he does do something like it, you will chastise, if he doesn't, you'll chastise and continue the

rhetoric.

Well, the socialists at Fox News have released their latest poll and it doesn't show that Trump has popular backing for his immigration policies.   "Do you approve or disapprove of President

One thing is for sure- Trump ( or the defacto POTUS- soyboy Jared Kushner ) will have indelibly branded the Republican Party as the anti-immigrant party without making any substantial or lasting change in immigration policy. That is a fact

Clearly it's both:

Trump Supports Plan to Cut Legal Immigration by Half

President Trump embraced a proposal on Wednesday to slash legal immigration to the United States in half within a decade by sharply curtailing the ability of American citizens and legal residents to bring family members into the country.

The plan would enact the most far-reaching changes to the system of legal immigration in decades and represents the president’s latest effort to stem the flow of newcomers to the United States.

Understand that and the original reasoning for it. I think people have taken the concept and moved on with it however.

Jeh Johnson, former Secretary of Homeland Security under then-President Barack Obama, said there is currently a “crisis” at the southern border as apprehensions surge.

By anyone’s definition, by anyone’s measure, right now, we have a crisis at our southern border,” Johnson asserted Saturday on Fox News’ “Cavuto Live.”

“According to the commissioner of CBP, there were 4,000 apprehensions in one day alone this past week. And we are on pace for 100,000 apprehensions on our southern border this month,” he continued.
