Brexit deadlocked again: British parliament fails to find an alternative

A German lady' in a tobacconist, overcharged me once in Dortmund. And a Nigerian lady in Spain didn't give me what we negotiated. And some Dutch guys got me drunk in Rotterdam. Bloody 'orrible meal in Greece once.

Let's get out why we can, with our head held high and some dosh in the coffers. The EU is doomed anyway. England once more is showing the way. More to follow.

Seen this morning from Hunt:

Writing in the Washington Post, the Foreign Secretary says there is no doubt that Britain will retain all the capabilities of a global power after Brexit.

I'm a young minded 68 years young Brexiteer.
Jobs..why don't you ask the young people of Spain..Portugal..Italy that question
????
Travel..I remember filling in bit of paper in order to go to Bevidorm in late 60's re holiday travel.

Wow delusion on a HUGE scale!!

So your kids future lifestyle will mean being excluded from future European jobs and travel without excessive hoop jumping that they don’t have to do now ? That’s real progress.

Explain to me why just about every youth movement/organisation/Television youth contributor is seething we have Brexit ? Why a huge proportion of younger voters would vote to remain yet here you are telling them what’s best for them. Arrogance doesn’t come close.

You in your dotage know what’s best right ?

Unicorns..........That will be Hunt the Beaver, you are talking of. No surprise he's in The US, he was already discussing selling off the NHS to them when he was health secretary. The 350m on the bus for the NHS now leading the competition for lie of the century. Have you had a close look at his eyes, the guy is a 24 carat weirdo.

Quote

He's a remainer which is why I didn't comment.

Arrogance..exactly why should someone with very ample life experience not be allowed to vote...or is that the way the imo fascist pro eu supporters would like it?
Answers on a postcard please.

A general election must now be called

Oh look! The wheels are still spinning!!

An election will not make this go away any faster or more decisively. It's just another manifestation of kicking the can down the road. Both major parties are hopelessly riven with their own internecine strife and our elected representatives are mostly all sitting around the Westminster coffee shops, bars and restaurants playing puerile, childish conspiracy games. The erstwhile new leaders are too chickenshit to even stick their hand up let alone stick their heads above the parapet. Meanwhile a handful of them, the ones coming up with ideas and initiatives like the indicative votes, are doing all the donkey work. After last week's epic fail on the first eight indicative votes, these bloody oxygen wasters were more upset about having to come back on Monday and vote on more solution-seeking guidelines from their earnest, hard working but hopelessly outnumbered peers. There's collectively no desire from them to carry out the will of the people. That's shameful.

An election will not magically replace this current parliament of indolents with anything different.

And who will be sorting out the Brexit debacle during the 6 weeks of intense electioneering ?

Umm better have an indicative vote on that one and slap the result on the side of bus ????

Looking back to early Brexit threads here on TVF, dozens of Brexit supporters have seemingly evaporated     leaving only a handful of Brexiteers doggedly posting in support of their failing Brexit.

It’s human nature, when people get conned a small minority will double down on the con they bought into, the majority will simply stop talking about their foolish choice and hope it goes away.

I suspect most were banned for one reason or another.

I was 'on the fence' prior to the referendum - but now am a leaver as if the brit. govt. is allowed to get away with ignoring the referendum result, they will be even worse in the future....

To be fair, I think it's only grouse that has suggested that only the more 'educated' should be allowed to vote?

He's not so keen though when it comes to the more intelligent!

He'd get on well with Prayut then!

I think a snap election can be done in 3 weeks?

The EU. That's the con. Just not a lot have gotten around to seeing it that way. Especially the current parliamentarians who mostly see their post-Westminster 'good life' serving as a MEP under serious threat.

It's not that simple.

Do you think MPs will get many directorship/consultancies (etc. etc.) with big business if they support leave??
