A British man has been reported missing in Koh Pangan

Concerned friends went to the cops on the holiday island of Koh Pangan yesterday evening after Ala Norman, 28, (name from Manager may be incorrect) went missing from a hostel.

The last contact with Mr Norman was to a friend via Line. He sent messages suggesting he was in pain and couldn't cope.

He was urged to contact his friends but said he was about to do something.

Friends feared he might take his own life.

A police team mounted a search with the help of his friends and people at the hostel but there was no news of him being found so far.

He was reported missing by a female British friend called Jordan aged 25.

Well at least if he is found dead we can assume suicide in this case, but hopefully he is just on a "trip" and will wake up soon .

Judging from his comments, it is apparent he has stood on a thorn.

I think the point he is making refers to the headline, and also the recent incident on Koh si Chang, this just adds to the overall current view some may take on tourism here.

What recent incident on Koh Chang?

If this fella hasn’t shown up by now I think we can assume he is dead.

That wasn’t in KOh Chang.

It was Koh Si Chang which is a nice little island off sriracha.
