While Trump fails, Carney outsmarts him once again
Wrong. Carney has already found new and far more reliable buyers for the lumber, oil, gas, steel and rare earth materials. US loses again and Trump drives inflation up. Bad for Americans. -

Community Boy 9, Mauled by Pack of Dogs While Crossing Road
Picture courtesy of Workpoint. A nine-year-old boy was left with injuries to both legs after being attacked by a pack of six dogs in Pak Phanang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The child narrowly avoided further harm when he fled across a road, fortunately at a moment when few vehicles were passing. The incident occurred in the morning in Ban Pia Lang, Khlong Noi subdistrict. The boy, referred to only as “A” for privacy, is pupil at a local school. He had left home to play in the school playground when, while waiting to cross a village road, six dogs belonging to a neighbour escaped from their home. The owner was reportedly out visiting a doctor at the time. The dogs charged at the boy, biting both his legs. In an attempt to escape, he ran across the road, risking a collision with traffic. Fortunately, few cars were on thee road, but a passing motorcyclist intervened to chase the animals away. At the time, the boy’s parents were working in another province. Relatives are now caring for him in Pak Phanang Hospital. The dog owner has been informed and is reportedly coordinating assistance for the victim, while the boy’s parents have vowed to pursue legal action. The village headman stated that the same dogs have attacked residents on previous occasions despite repeated warnings to their owner. Local authorities are expected to review measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. Adapted by Asean Now from Workpoint 2025-08-11 -
