Not enough good players and grunt at North sir to cause an upset what your smelling is the ammonia in the floor cleaner the mrs is using to mop the floor....

As for the hip and shoulder.....in light of concussion and what we now know its time to rub it out, there intent on wacking the guy going for the ball is fairly clear there Fj, like most of the time a tackle to inpeed playing on would have been suffice, if they have time to hip and shoulder they have time to lay a tackle other wise we could dress up AFL players like the NFL does, do you want that?

When you tackle front on you lead with your head, that's what the dimwits changing the rules don't understand.

Let's think back to your junior days,i wonder why you were only allowed to bump and Not tackle.

It should be mandatory for 1st to 3rd year players to wear helmets.

No rules when i was a kid, then again the kids weren't good enough to tackle and hip and shoulder we where all chasing the ball.....

Like i said with what we know about concussion now and how it can have long term health impact hip and shoulder is pretty much a sniper hiding in the grass....that latest incident was pure intent on rubbing the guy out, like really the guy going for the ball is a sitting duck as was in that case, in that case he was head over the ball just picked it up then smash, lot different if running with the ball and someone comes in from the side sir...that incident hit him at 1 o'clock not on the side sooo close to chest it wasnt funny....and the impact caused him to hit his head on the ground where a side to side is unlikely to do that sir....yes there are degrees that i would consider part of the game and not wish it changed, a side hit needs to be taught head over the ball and anything else should be a report.

In the NFL there was a tendency to snipe the QB, late hits etc, you know to hurt, too put him off his game, was happening in many areas all over the ground, all these late hits, they have been having considerable issues with concussion, they have since introduced new rules, enforcing more diligently old rules, roughing the passer, you cant hit a QB once the ball has left his hands anymore its a 15 yard penalty and first down, any thing after the ball is dead is a big penalty, rough or dangerous tackles are big penalties, unsportsmanlike like conduct is a penalty, we could learn a few things from them Fj.

We will have to agree to disagree on the subject.

Never known of a coach to not preach wearing your opposition down physically in a contest.

Ho and why is he cheap?

He would be cheap at 6 first round picks because he is the best tall ive ever seen right from game 1.....even Jim Stynes who improved with every game would run second to Luke, (and i think old Jim was worth his weight in gold) this guy if he stays healthy is going to be the best tall in the game within 4 years, and can play anywhere, a natural on the ball and already a threatening forward.....

Well if they dont teach the forwards to lead we are likely to loose the double chance mr Fj....talk about butchering your chances....honestly the GWS game we were a god dam joke.....this is they guy we need back, even at 50 could do a better job than who's there now.....

something for you in there Will.....and the day Jacko stitches up Norths Martin....

The history of that mid 90's Demon team was we where about to make some history then within 18 months the goal to goal line goes down, FB, Sean Wight, one of his two knees) , CHB Paul Prymke, shoulder, never recovered, CHF, David Schwarz first of his 3 knees, CHF/FF Gary Lyon, shoulder, never really came back from it. FF Allen Jackovich, shoulder Never recovered from it, went to play for the Dogs but no chop...Centreman Stephen Tingay started getting injured mid 90's was a shadow of himself but chugged along for a few years before going out early.
