I see from the Apple eSIM page that some of the Thai mobile companies are offering the eSIM facility.  Has any started to use this themselves?

They only use it for overseas roaming sim (out of Thailand).

Yes you can go to the operator and tell them you want to use e sim. I have ais as primary and physical and changed my dtac sim to be esim and now I have two numbers on my Xs.
