Good luck with that, you are going to need it.  Don't believe the propaganda pushed out by the government here,  that Thailand is an easy place to do business and make money; it's neither one. 

If you search "business visa Thailand" you will get a list of prohibited businesses for non-Thais. The list is short and, also I read via world bank surveys that Thailand is challanging for FDI (Forigen Direct Investment.)

You maybe better off with domestic stock or real estate investment. Good luck.
