Hal65
BKK > Pattaya is only 2.5 hours but when you add in wait times and do this several times it adds up. Next time I am thinking of taking my laptop. Issue is it only has about 1.5 hours of battery life and a 120 baht doesn't have plug points. What do you guys do during bus rides? I tend to try to sleep going one way, so will try that next time too. 1

Popular Post Happystance
I travel with my unlocked budget smartphone loaded with Netflix and my Kindle loaded with Prime movies. 8+ hours of battery life on the Kindle and it fits in my back pocket. I also carry a small battery pack that will charge either micro usb device. I never run out of juice and I can fly or ride for days and not see all my content...

Puchaiyank
If going to Patts, I think about how to keep my suitcase, watch and necklace from being taken from me before I reach condo...going to BKK I try to compose myself and prepare for the folks who cross over in front of me to gain an advantage at the airlines desk... It's all good! ????

Popular Post Emdog
Sometimes I sit and think, sometimes I just sit. How about trying to "empty" yourself of distractions and just being with yourself. Don't want to call it meditation, too loaded a word. Just shut your eyes and watch all the whackiness that constitutes "you". Couple hours away from electronic teat might do you good. 1
weegee
Sit there and try to picture what the Bus would look like upside down, half full of water, and what's the distance to the window nearest, you can fit through, is situated....enjoy the ride wont you?....ha ha Edited May 3, 2019 by weegee 1
CLW
Ride to Pattaya is good for watching movies or reading something. It's mostly on the new motorway and road is smooth. On other roads it get dizzy from all the shaking and mostly looking outside the window and / or listen to music. Sleeping is also an option, consider earplugs. Safe journey Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
rskdev
Drink Beer on the way. Of course I put it in a plastic soda bottle like Ice Tea Oishi. That way I try not to offend anyone. Usually 4 or 5 on the way to Patts from BKK. Time fly's by that way. 1

Lacessit
My humble OPPO A37 has about 300 music files and 100 Kindle books stored on it. A set of bud earphones, and I'm good to go. I've given up on laptops and tablets - too bulky. The OPPO battery lasts about a week in airplane mode. My Kindle is only on standby to the OPPO now.
