Eveing folks,   I have a couple of electronic devices that need a step down transformer to 110 v like back in the US.   I figured I'd check Lazada and ordered one there. After 10 days,  they sent me a message saying they were refunding my money.    Apparently they sold out.

 

So,  I looked at aliExpress and found a good one,  they wanted $26.50 for the product,  and the cheapest shipping for it was $37.27.    They are made in China naturally.   Does anyone know of a place near BKK where I can get a 500-1000 watt stepdown on a face to face sort of deal?    Because I ain't cool with paying more for the shipping than the product.

Amorn Electronics stores are pretty common throughout BKK, and often have step down transformers.  Unfortunately, their inventory varies day to day and you may hit them on a bad day.  But there will be another one right down the street.

 

If you tell us what part of BKK you frequent, someone can point you to a nearby store.  Or, use Google...

I checked and they are out of stock at their online store.  I need one for 500 watts and above.
