Issues with old Iphone 5: unresponsive surface & glass coming up

From one minute to the next, one Ip5's touch screen stopped working.

The other one's glass has come up, not staying in the frame. But it's still fully usueable.

The Ipad Mini got a new glass in Vietnam for about 500 THB, but that glass is much thicker and the touch screen is much less responsive. But now the battery has been weak and it won't charge all the time. The charger & cable works on the Iphone 5s but not on the Ipad. But when plugged in at a computer's USB port, then the Ipad can be charged.

TBH, I am not comprehending this.

Someone else may have had the same issues?
