Storm turns Khao Talo into river of garbage

PATTAYA:--It rained for only an hour, but it was enough to transform Soi Khao Talo into a garbage-filled river.

The East Pattaya neighborhood was hit hard by the June 6 storm, flooding Soi Khao Talo from Rattanakorn Market to Sukhumvit Road with water deep as half a tire on most cars.

More flooding was reported from the Top Charoen optical shop to Wat Boonsamphan School.

It took about 30 minutes for the water to subside, leaving the street covered in garbage.

Remember the readers involved.

Half a tyre on a mini is different from half a tyre on a Roller. But a centimetre is always a centimetre, unless you are American when it is a tire and a centimeter.

And an inch is always an inch, unless you give it to her and she takes a mile!    LOL
