can anyone help me

I am planning on taking my 20 month old son to uk for a holiday, he has a Thai and uk passport do I need anything else as his mum ( who is Thai) will not be coming with us

Ask his mother to write a short note that says she gives you permission to take the boy on a trip. Get her to sign it and attach a copy of her ID card. That is what I did, although I was never asked to show it.
