So I've just been lucky then, being herpes-free? I don't think so. Protection in the form of antibiotics and antivirals assumes the target cannot adapt. IIRC there is evidence of anti-biotic resistant strains of syphilis and gonorrhea in Laos and Cambodia. Apart from which, said medications screw up gut flora and the immune system. -
