Any Newer Models Of Vigo Or Izuzu Expected Soon ?

hi guys

I am preparing to buy a pickup and have not quite decided whether to buy a Toyota Vigo or Izuzu model.......

I hear that the Vigo has a better engine and better technology, but for overall looks I prefer the Izuzu, seems stronger and bettr kitted out

But here is my question. A thai friend has said that Toyota are going to introduce a new model of Vigo in May this year and that it will have better specs than todays model.......... he is holding out til then, do you think I should follow or is he blowing smoke up my ass

Any opinions or knowledge about this would be greatly appreciated
