Bluetooth keeps disconnecting

I have a Huiawei Android phone and a Toyota Vigo. Last week the phone updated to Android 9.0.??? and since then the Bluetooth disconnects after 30 seconds whether playing mp3 or internet radio. I have reset the phone a couple of times but to no avail. My Bose Bluetooth headphones stay connected fine.

Any ideas anyone, is it the phone or my car radio system? Thanks.
