Red Dragonfruit

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to get the red dragonfruit, or the closest place I can get them to the Nimman area?

If you don't see them at the roadside market stalls then they likely aren't ready yet.

They are 40 per KG currently in bkk.. and are in season.. perhaps the outdoor market at CMU.. near royal project along Suthep.

Been eating them for months...Big -C fruit section and local farmers market...

If you are still looking the CMU Agro shop next to Doi Kham had 1KG bags of the large ones for 40 Baht.

30 per kg in Nonth today...they sell the smaller ones for 20 thb for five, more than a kg.  I would like to see some data on the differences in white vs. purple, but my vote goes with the purple.

Oddly enough, not long after I posted this, my local Rinping had a supply of them, and cheaper than they were selling the white ones for also.

The red dragon fruit has been slow to appear this year, but plenty of white. Finally, in the last week or so they have been showing up. Large 40 Baht/kg.

Makes a helluva good flute shake.
