Looking for a decent inexpensive hotel near Korat Terminal 2 bus station

My wife will be heading up to Korat by bus then renting a car to drive on a few hours. I’m looking for a recommendation for a decent hotel that she can possibly walk to from the bus station and any recommended rental car companies. TIA
