Paying voluntary National Insurance contributions - ridiculous processing time
I made an online payment back in May and it still hasn’t shown up online as being paid. Wrote to them 2 months ago querying its whereabouts and have received no response. I assume most of the staff are still ‘working from home’ in their pyjamas and this leads to the ridiculous inefficiency -

Had he resigned earlier, Harris would have faced a primary, as Pelosi herself implied recently. Then she wouldn't have been the Dem candidate. That would have been different, but then the Dems still didn't have anyone that compelling and wouldn't have been willing to change any of their failed policies--and therefore have lost to Trump anyway. -

Krungsri Interest Rates
I have one of this Mee Tai Dai account since few years. Open in the branch, not online. I am not to remember but I think when I open it that time, the interest were up to 1.5% for max 1 million, then drop to 0.9% above 1 million. I went to the branch recently and they me that now, for this account (not online), the 1.5% interest is for max 100k balance. The online one is restricted to Thai only. At the meantime, i have the similar online account with SCB (I think it's easy something) when you get 1.5% up to 2M. No bank book. The interest are paid monthly. Better than nothing... -

No. In any event why this plan. Taxation rules? Just transfer the 400k to your Thai bank account
