Hey every one,

My wife has managed to get an employment letter from the restaurant she works in Thai language. The letter has all the important points needed for Visit Visa to the UK.

The only problem is the letter is in normal paper, it doesn't have any company letterhead or logo. I asked my wife but they told her they don't have company letterhead.

The supervisor has included her details, signature, including work telephone no etc.

My wife she has payslip that gives the company name and details same as the letter.

Will this be a problem when applying for two weeks visit visa.

Many thank you.

There should be no problem, she'll need to get the letter translated into English, and the author of the letter should expect a call from a locally employed Thai member of staff from the UKVI in Bangkok.

I would include a short para in the covering letter and include the payslips.

  • Thanks 1
