Where he was parked in England we would call that the hard shoulder can only park there in emergencies does that apply in Thai;and and there is normally 2 of them vans there, That section of the road is wide and well lit and 5 am I doubt there would be very little traffic around there I have noticed them vans have been of the road the last couple of nights
