The script for the final episode of Game Of Thrones has been released online, providing a number of small details which may fuel the backlash even further.

Game Of Thrones came to a controversial end back in May this year, with cast members recently subjected to scrutiny over season eight’s flaws at San Diego Comic-Con.

The full script for the finale is now available online for anyone’s perusal, which has revealed finer details about the intention behind some key scenes. The biggest question it answers is why Drogon melted the Iron Throne.

Did you believe it was an act of profound symbolism to destroy the power-lust race which inevitably killed Daenerys Targaryen? Turns out, it was simply because it was there.

The low quality conclusion to what was once a great show, was just dumb and dumber. I think the bigger question was why did Targaryen commit genocide on the people? The ones she was aspiring to rule? Was it some sort of Hitler type symbology in the juvenile minds of the writers, David Benioff and D. B. Weiss? It was lame, disappointing, cruel, and just mindless. Who cares about iron throne? It was just a fancy chair.

Sounds like my Dad's new wife.????

Also, sounds like a number of Thai wives, friends of mine have had here, who did not have the patience to get to know the gal, and jumped in head first. 12-24 months minimum, before anything in the way of commitments, major financial benefits, etc.

Script should have jumped forward 70 years and shown a wrinkled, blind Jon Snow asking a troubled Watcher on the Wall, "Do you know who I was, boy? I could have been king."

My personal belief (and I have nothing to support this other than my personal viewing of the show) is she just went off the deep end as her family was wont to do.

Wrong. The biggest question is why the producers thought that sack of dragon poo was a fitting last series.

Dragons were just dumb beasts- they did what they were trained to do- all else was just eating, like any other beast. To claim that a dragon had the intelligence to understand symbolism is just barking.

I've started at series one again. Such an excellent series, but such a shame that everyone, cast and audience, was betrayed by stupid producers that allowed such a mockery to be made.

IMO she just came to believe that she was special, and that anyone that didn't love her had to die.

Mind you, she had enough bad stuff happen to her to make anyone insane.

She showed traces of that after she became Khaleese.

In a better version, she'd have stayed in Mereen, and Arya would have got to stick Cersi with the pointy end, right in her eyes, and taken her to the worst brothel in King's Landing to live out her days.

Never mind dragons burning thrones. I want to know how so many Dothraki survived the army of the dead? After all, they made a big show of all the flaming blades going out after they ALL charged the army of the dead.

Not all. If you read Fire and blood, you will see that some were pretty good.

Good point. And how did they manage the clean up effort?

Not sure what you mean by that, but the last series was so full of glaring defects they can't have had any proof readers to point out mistakes. IMO they just wanted to make something to end it as cheaply as possible, hence a CGI battle touted as the longest battle on film ever. In the end, we spent more time watching the red woman lighting a fire than on the battle action- perhaps not in fact, but it seemed to go on interminably.

They even wasted long minutes looking at Tyrion sleeping- shades of Big Brother!

It could have been so excellent, and they insulted us with that garbage!

Well, just the ashes of the undead must have amounted to thousands of tons of ash. Not to mention the thousands of their own soldiers that were wiped out. Just a simple funeral pyre? The entire last season was such nonsense, it kind of seemed like a waste of time, money and effort. Quit while you are ahead. Ending it at the end of the 5th season, would have been ideal, in my mind.

At the end of the series they mentioned that the Black watch would continue, which seems strange, given that there were no longer the Night Walkers to fear, nor were there wildlings to fight.

I'll just have to put it with all the other stupid things that came out of the last series.

Now, only if a dragon was to feast on the charred bodies of the writers would there be some justice in Westeros.

"Drogon wanted the burn the world, but he will not kill John" WHAT???"

Jon only seconds earlier had plunged a knife into the mother of dragons and was standing over body looking guilty as sin. But Drogon turned his rage towards the world in general? He was a philosopher then?

Just another turd in a huge steaming pile from the last 2 seasons. They ought to lock D&D up and keep them from any writing materials. I already hate their new Star Wars project and I haven't seen any of it yet.

Hopefully they will be making a better job of the GOT spin off. Personally, I'd be making one with Arya sailing off into the west. That has unlimited potential, and Arya has grown to be quite hot, unlike Sansa, who just got boring, even if she has auburn hair.
