US Visa Renewal by Mail

Featured Replies

My wife's 10 visa is set to expire soon, and she is about to begin the process of renewing it.  On the US Embassy in Thailand's website, they provide a link to a company that allows Thais to renew their visa by mail if you meet a list of criteria (same name, currently residing in Thailand, fingerprints already taken at embassy, etc...).

For a number of reasons I wouldn't normally use an agency, but the fact that this company is listed on the embassy website is making me think twice.

Does anyone have experience using this method and company to renew a 10 year B1/B2 visa?

Thanks very much!  ????

PS--I did a search on the topic but didn't see anything.  Apologies if this has already been covered.

Are you sure it's actually operated via an agency, the link you've supplied, albeit from a third party, suggests that the service for the postal service is operated by the US Embassy, and that's where you send the application, am I missing something?

Thanks for your reply.

After taking a further look, I think you're probably right.  When I initially clicked through the link, I couldn't get past the URL which screamed out "agency" to me.
