ACFS pushes for higher levels of organic farming

Villagers downstream of reservoir advised to relocate to higher ground

Villagers living downstream of a small earthen dam, in Bang Saphan district of Thailand’s southern province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, were yesterday advised to move their belongings to higher ground as a precaution against possible flooding of their communities due an unusual discharge of water from the reservoir.

3 Burmese workers dead following collapse at VIP Condo construction site in Rawai

Two workers have been found dead following yesterday’s collapse at the construction site of the VIP Mercury and VIP Galaxy condo and villa site in Rawai. The two migrant workers were trapped under scaffolding that collapsed bringing the death toll to 3. Eight others were hurt.

PHUKET: Phuket Provincial Police have reported the arrest of nine suspects in the first 10 days of August, resulting in the seizure of unlicensed illegal firearms, a haul of drugs as well as two cars and a Honda CB650R motorbike.
