"And who elected this queen to speak for Denmark?"

No one. Queens aren't elected, it's a hereditary position. Hope that clarifies things for you.

Peasant Woman: Well, I didn't vote for you.
Queen: You don't vote for queens.
Peasant Woman: Well, how'd you become queen, then?

Queen: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur...

And who elected this queen to speak for Denmark? Who even knew(or cared) that Denmark has one? The honor was all hers, to meet the most famous man in the world. All the glossy pics she would treasure for all time. She totally blew this. Trump has better things to do with his time anyway.

Pretty infamous, too.

Trump’s International Ratings Remain Low, Especially Among Key Allies

America’s global image plummeted following the election of President Donald Trump, amid widespread opposition to his administration’s policies and a widely shared lack of confidence in his leadership. Now, as the second anniversary of Trump’s election approaches, a new 25-nation Pew Research Center survey finds that Trump’s international image remains poor, while ratings for the United States are much lower than during Barack Obama’s presidency.

But on the flip side he enjoys a really high approval rating among the world's dictators and despots.

Let's hope he's soon relegated to the part of history's scrap heap that's reserved for the smelliest memories.

Calling it off was petulance and stupid but he's guided by his emotions much of the time.

That's reassuring. I'd be worried, though, if someone like that were to occupy a position of great power.

Calling those with differing opinion with those of donald trump "haters" is so utterly preposterous, and so massive a projection that it beggars belief.

Trump is fragile deeply insecure narcissist, who like folks of this psyche ... over compensates.

Given the power he has been granted by a people that are clearly quite collectively indifferent at best, and at worst quite collective mad is deeply troubling to reasonably sane no narcissistic people.

Actually, the last time something like this happened was a little more recent than that. Denmark sold what is now the US Virgin Islands to the US, in 1917.

......and Harry S. Truman offered to buy Greenland in 1946 for US$100,000,000.

But it's not surprising that Trump supporters indulge in that practice. If you support Trump, it means you don't have a lot of respect for fact. Because if you did, how could you support someone who lies with such extraordinary frequency. So instead, you attack motives. The useful feature for Trump supporters of that class of accusation is that while it can't be proved, it can't be disproved either.

Right on man ???? Beautifully said. As a psychotherapist of some degree of competency I get what your saying in spades ???? The sad thing and the dangerous thing for others is that DT and those who align themselves with a lot of what he says (not everything he says is bankrupt, I imagine, if hge was entirely bankrupt psychologically he'd be locked up and in a funny jacket), is that these folks are unable to see themselves and carry sucg abandonment and rage issues that any convenient vehicle they can project this onto becomes the enemy and thus a "hater".  For the record I don't hate or despise DT I feel compassion for him ... he is so trapped.

Yep so true ! ... just goes to show that sanity and humility aren't strong points of US Presidents. But, for me to be be historically somewhat accurate Post war the 'Commies' as Yanks coined them were a real threat to US ways of thinking, so a good big buffer and military base in US Greenland would have definitely put pressure on old Joe. Winston C didn't think much of Stalin and his cronies either.

Thank you Denmark. I am glad the US taxpayer isn't going to be on the hook for welfare payments to that entire province. I'm sure the US is paying out the wazoo for the base we do have there.

...just months after dropping a nuclear bomb on the civilians of 2 cities.

Not unprecedented.  The US bought the US Virgin Islands from Denmark.  Also, Greenland has the rare earths that the US needs and currently gets from the chicoms

On a par with Nixon and Bush!

In comparison G.W.B. appears as an intellectual. Embarrassing to even think of such idea. And to babble about it openly... he is really lost in space.

Well that's very evolved of you not to despise 45 but the thing is while I agree he's suffering in his own special psychological hell, he IMPOSES that sickness on the world. So he's not just another should be a patient. He's truly and massively DESTRUCTIVE.

That's true but the way "trump" made overtures towards this could be a course in how NOT to have any chance of a deal being made. The greatest negotiator? More like the worse!

Wow. 45 really has a boner for Greenland! Sounds like the real reason he's canceling is that it would be humiliating.

He seems to have gone limp on it!

I'm sorry but his problems aren't psycological, they're pathological.

He's an identifiable psycopath.

Check this list against Trump:

The standard screening test for potential psychopaths is the Hare Psychopathy Checklist. In the test, a clinician interviews a potential sociopath and scores them on 20 criteria, such as "promiscuous sexual Behavior" or "impulsivity." On each criterion, the subject is ranked on a 3-point scale: (0 = item does not apply, 1 = item applie s somewhat, 2 = item definitely applies). The scores are summed to create a rank of zero to 40. Anyone who scores 30 and above is probably a psycho.

  1. Superficial charm and glibness
  2. Inflated sense of self-worth
  3. Constant need for stimulation
  4. Lying pathologically
  5. Conning others; being manipulative
  6. Lack of remorse or guilt
  7. Shallow emotions
  8. Callousness; lack of empathy
  9. Using others (a parasitic lifestyle)
  10. Poor control over behavior
  11. Promiscuous sexual behavior
  12. Behavioral problems early in life
  13. Lack of realistic, long-term goals
  14. Being impulsive
  15. Being irresponsible
  16. Blaming others and refusing to accept responsibility
  17. Having several marital relationships
  18. Delinquency when young
  19. Revocation of conditional release
  20. Criminal acts in several realms (criminal versatility)

It’s a trend to hate trump. Typical self-loathing, Caucasian progressive-liberal soy boys with no opinions in fear of being labeled as a nazi or bigot. Accepting +70 different pronouns of gender and sexes, hating the male gender for being too masculine, sucking each other off in hope of fitting in. Hopeless future for this planet.

You should try the Hare Psychopathy Checklist on yourself. You might have more in common with Trump than you thought.

The fact that you can't see nothing wrong, doesn't make it a good idea. This a very conservative remark to avoid being banned.
