There isn't any irony, we have had a referendum and that is what we rely on, not Mickey Mouse polls. And yes don't you think that after over 3 years of mish mash we finally have a conclusion on this, or do you want to kick the can down the street forever because you don't agree with the result.

A brexit campaigner representing UKIP is welcome to carry on campaigning but he is not a group of MPs dedicated to using parliament to delay, fear monger and orchestrate a mass propaganda campaign. The latter is an abuse of power and has led to the neglect of other parliamentary business and individual constituents' needs. The labour party has betrayed its core voters.  Corbyn , a closet Brexiteer has betrayed both his principles and his voters.  No surprise there. Its what socialists do: ignore the will of the people and impose there own ideological rules on them.

I voted for BRINO for which I will be very happy if we get it - will you ? Remainers time afraid to hold your nose and back Boris whilst he covertly shafts the nut jobs.

"I think by mid-September, there will be an attempt between Brussels and Boris Johnson's government to get a withdrawal agreement back on the table.

"Boris Johnson seems to think that if the backstop is removed, Theresa May's deal is absolutely fine. He literally wants to change about 1% of that deal that was rejected three times by parliament.

"As somebody who wants Brexit, I do not want the withdrawal agreement that costs us £39billion, that still leaves us subject to a foreign court.

"I'm worried that we could face a Theresa May-type 2 deal."

Impose their own ideological rules?

You dont see the irony in that with a shutdown of parliament and the votes of people who voted for Brexit but not for no deal being hijacked by Brexit fundamentalists?

Seriously you dont see the irony there?

If thats what you think you misunderstand democracy and know nothing of British Constitutional Law. Thus you contribute nothing to this discussion.

Bizarre there it is again - so why worry about a second referendum? As the first vote was after being provided with zero information as to the implications, and now the public are more informed, thus the avalanche of polls which clearly show it would be reversed what have you got to be afraid of ?

That's democratic right ?

finally democracy prevails over political left wing clowns and eu political alcoholics the queen for god sake consented to close parliament until 14 of october. hence brexit will go forward and the left throws tantrums.

From the Express so must be true......

But, Mr Johnson’s pledge is yet to win over all Brexit supporters with Nigel Farage warning Brits to be sceptical of the Conservative Party leader’s pledges.

Mr Farage has also said that he will not form an alliance with the Tories while Mr Cummings is Mr Johnson's special adviser on leaving the bloc.

The Brexit Party leader has said Mr Cummings is “untrustworthy” and not a “true believer” in leaving the bloc.

Writing in the Daily Telegraph, Mr Farage said: “The appointment of Dominic Cummings as Johnson’s special adviser in No10 means there is no prospect of such a deal.

Johnson will apparently refuse to resign even if voted out next week and a new PM proposed. it will be up to the courts to throw him out.

What Brexit process are you talking about? Johnson seems hell bent on a no deal Brexit which none of the 37% of the electorate who voted for Brexit chose.

Try reading something else in addition to the Guardian/Independent/BBC.

Good then we get BRINO and we can move on - clever folk are onto the wily liar Johnson there will be NO DEAL Brexit but he must make everyone believe that there will be to get the best DEAL that we can get. That word Deal .....

But the democratic process TODAY would reverse it - do you see the irony ?

Which is why brexiteers are desperate to get this over the line

The desperation comes from the remainers attempting to use legislation to prevent legal default No Deal, you cannot remove a legal element.

As the EU is refusing to ‘conclude talks’ as per A50 it is they (Brussels) failures not the U.K.

The EU has simply sat on its hands, listened to advise from Brexit haters hoping TM would still be PM and HoC would eventually pass the WA. What they didn’t expect is Boris.

As I’m not most people, however the desperation is clearly from the remain side as time is very much running out of options for them, hence all the MSM faux outrage.

Yes, I'm REALLY sure.

You see, in UK you cannot vote for a PM candidate en general elections. The political party that wins the most seats in the House of Commons at a general election usually forms the new government. Its leader becomes Prime Minister (appointed by the Queen). It may come as a surprise to you, but it is in fact the public who votes in a general election.

Now, I know all of this is complex and difficult to understand for someone who's never contemplated this before. For this reason, I have been kind enough to look up the information on the Parliament web site. I suggest you spend some time to read and digest the information therein.

Good luck!

If we don't leave, it will be the end of democracy in the UK.

Boris Johnson is seeking to deny the DEMOCRATICALLY elected leaders of this DEMOCRACY - to ram through a process that was wanted by a slim majority three years ago but is no longer wanted according to every survey taken since.

Run that 'democracy' thing past us again please …...

But...the process he's running through IS part of democracy. YOU are part of the electorate that put the processes in place. Just because you disagree doesn't mean it's not democracy.

For heavens sake, get off the floor and wipe those tears off your face.

Again you don't know that, purely speculation, I would turn the argument around and say that now people are more aware of the way the EU operates there would be more people voting to leave.

and yet every single survey, bar one, of the hundreds commissioned since have said the opposite - how weird is that ?
