Car Financing Advice in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi there I need some advice on the quote for financing a new Toyota Yaris E model.

The car sales man said the monthly payments would be 7276 baht per month for 84 months. The car costs 569000.

The Interest rate is 3.79 % Is this a good deal for my Thai girlfriend or should we go somewhere else.

Advice is appreciated.

Thanks

We just financed a Fortuner through the Toyota dealer, and that was in the low 2%, not sure of the exact number.

That figure doesn't sound right....42,000bht for 7 years credit. Ask for a print out..

Shows 2.5% on the website calculator
Just show them that and ask for a requote, also try a different showroom.....

My local Toyota dealer shows 2.5% on a Yaris with a 10% down payment.....

Google Toyota Deeyam Ubon Ratchathani, they have an easy calculator in English to fool with for ideas..

Isn't that the default setting for interest rate on the online app? Not everyone is going to get that percentage rate at 10% down????

What I am saying is that 2.5% is not a guarantee it is just the number that happens to be in the default settings.

Borrowing 513,000 i make that a flat 2.73% interest = @5.5% APR. Not too bad for Thailand but more than most western countries. I would accept it.
