Just watched president zelinsky and donny boy kill it in their press conference right now.

No pressure, no coercion, no quid pro quo, no mafia tactics as suggested by shifty Schiff.

Synchronized lying is very entertaining and a lot easier to find of late.

Obviously, during this call, one guy was smarter than the other and it was not Trump. He was really pathetic.

Smart guy. He knows how to talk to Trump:

Actually, last time I traveled to the United States, I stayed in New York near Central Park and I stayed at the Trump Tower. ????

Lots of meat in that call.

I think Pelosi's timing now looks brilliant.

She didn't cross the rubicon too early or too late.

Five Potential Articles of Impeachment From the Trump-Ukraine Call

1. Nancy didn't really do anything. There were already investigations, and there has been no vote making anything official.

2. Just like most of the propaganda from the media, the Slate article just says, maybe, could be, blah blah. nothing of real substance.

But that's ok, you guys still keep on believing.

The real change in direction could be if DT's poll numbers start to fall.  If he drops below 35% his fellow Republicans may see him as a re-election hazard and commence to back off from him.  And then the buzz of challenging him in the primaries, guaranteed to produce never-before-seen evidence of further monkey business.  And if he wins the primaries (and why not?  the FEC has been rendered virtually inoperable) the possibility he can be out of office by the convention or Nov. 2020 ....

and so on and so on.  Wow, it reads like a plan for a season of a reality show.

All of which will fail in the senate even if they got anywhere in the house. This is political masturbation.

I’m in agreement with you with this caveat it is another exposure of Donald’s corruption and lawlessness we see that it also gets quicker access to requested information it helps counter donalds stonewalling so donalds sdeleted show continues a bit longer so what

Dig up dirt is not a legal term. He was investigating wrong doing, that's part of his job. You act like Biden is entitled not to have his dirt dug. No one more creepy than Biden, I can't understand how the progressives can tolerate him.

Playing Sherlock Holmes is not part of a president's job description. Yeah, and sure, he only did it because of his strong moral compass. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

"No one more creepy than Biden..."? Seriously? Ever heard of D. Trump - you know, one of the creepiest guys of all times?

Democrats should be careful what they wish for.

1/ no president has ever been removed from office by impeachment

2/ an unsuccessful impeachment would only make Trump stronger

3/ just trying to impeach trump makes him more likely to be re elected

4/ if he were by some fluke removed by impeachment Pence would be president

5/ Trump would probably enjoy having them try to impeach him as it would give him untold ammunition to use against them in the election campaign- did he do anything worse than Clinton did by trying to smear Trump with the report from the British spy?

6/ Do the Dems believe that if they removed Trump by legal means rather by an election Trump's base will not take revenge?

Could Pelosi have realised that Biden probably has no chance of defeating Trump, so trying to get rid of Trump another way?

There is only a year left and the campaigns will start soon, so shouldn't the Dems be finding a proper candidate that can defeat Trump at the polls instead of this distraction?

So let’s pretend the American public are not getting a clear unequivocal insight into what a corrupt crook Trump is and that they are not able to see the Republican Party aiding and abetting his crimes against America.

Making phone calls to start investigations or to ask for the support of other world leaders isn't within the role of a president? What?

And he wasn't playing Sherlock Holmes. Role playing and dressing up is Trudeau's job up in Canada.

Don't know what Trudea has to do with this other than the fact that he's obviously an obsession of yours.

And no, it's not in a president's job description to start investigating political rivals through blackmailing foreign leaders. That's treason.

If you believe that's OK then you moral compass is as messed up as Trump's.

Mueller was investigating wrong-doing.  Trump was pressing the Ukrainian President to come up with evidence to support an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory.

Well if it were substantiated it wouldn't be a theory. But yes if you got a guy bragging about blackmailing a foreign government. Then it is the right thing to do is to check it out. Best thing to do is get the country involved to cooperate right.

Biden should have kept his mouth shut, but he had to show off.

What is there to check out?  The US and a number of other countries didn't want to loan Ukraine money until it got rid of a suspiciously ineffective prosecutor, Biden told the Ukrainian President of the prosecutor didn't go the loans wouldn't happen, and the prosecutor was fired.

Biden was tasked with carrying out US policy and bragged about how effective he was.  That is public record, not a sinister secret.

Someone posted an overlong citation of an article that among other things claimed this:

"However, during the trial, and this is what no one is thinking about right now, the President's attorneys will have the right to subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT.. "

That is not true. The House gets to make the rules. And like other courts, will almost certainly establish a rule that a witness must offer testimony relevant to the charges.

For someone who's extract of part of an apparently totally above board phone conversation was recently released to the world, Zelensky looked like he was about to be forced to eat an excrement pie in his UN presser with Trump.

Why would that be?
