Actually, the Wall Street Journal first reported that it was the Ukraine.

Still, I want to see the actual report that is supposed to be released to Congress, not some article that is based on it, or a synopsis, a goddam summary or a report with stuff blacked out.  Enough of all this hiding and deflecting.

This is nothing more than another soon-to-be-failed Dem tactic.  Impeachment attempts will fail, too.  How many nothing-burgers do people need to eat before they finally realize they're being played and have been played from the get-go?  LOL

would we call such a person "deep state" political biased mole, spying on the president. the spying saga continues after the dirty steele ,maccape, romney, klapper, ohr etc.

Something the "trump" fans might not be factoring into this equation. With this formal impeachment process much more information we don't already know will be coming out into the light. Not only about Ukraine. That was the tipping point but really the tip of the iceberg. If "trump" fans actually believe their man is clean and not the criminally corrupt con man he has clearly been for several decades then they can relax.

Sure, let's pull Mueller's one foot in the grave, out for another appearance.

Mueller's scope was actually rather NARROW.

Sure, that is also not true.  Ask Manafort who was convicted of crimes that had 0 to do with Donald Trump.

It is true. It was about Russian involvement in the 2016 election by anyone including of course Russians and people that lied to federal prosecutors were collateral damage. There are a lot of other areas that could be subject to investigation.

Prove it.

Show me the charges and the involvement of the 2016 campaign.

If not, please close you gob and stop spreading #fakenews

Read the Mueller report. If you're talking only about "trump" yes it is well known that Mueller couldn't prove collusion with Russia but did detail about ten counts of obstruction of justice that he punted on. I can see you're at a very high intellectual level with your fakenews garbage attack. It really sounds like you know almost nothing about the Mueller report so I suggest you do some research about that if you wish to post intelligently about it on this forum. I won't do that work for you. Sorry.

I didn't ask about the Mueller report.  I asked you to provide the charging documents used by the Prosecuter and courts to railroad him.

You put it out there.  You were wrong.  Now you won't put up.

You now know what to do.

You're shamelessly deflecting. You're baiting with abandon. I'm not interested in engaging with any members at such a gutter level so -- GOODBYE.

To add I am happy with having civil discussions with political opponents that are willing to post in good faith.

Others -- life is too short.

How wonderful. A base Trump supporter accusing others of spreading fake news.

BTW, you don't get to tell anyone on this forum to close his "gob", understand?

You don't tell me what to do, "understand?"

He claimed Manafort was convicted of things that had to do with the 2016 campaign.

That is 100 percent false.

Untrue.

It's a 100 percent prevarication.

You were challenged on your statement and instead of defending it, or being a mensch and admitting wrong, you run.

Ok - run along then.

To clarify. Obviously if other crimes were discovered not directly related to the scope they would still be chargeable. I implied that already by mentioning the crime of lying to a federal prosecutor. For example if they had discovered a murder in the course of investigation of the Russian angle the murder would not be exempt.

But the scope was still rather narrow. For example violations of the emoluments clause were not in the scope.

Q. What will Mueller do as special counsel?

A. Mueller is supposed to carry on the investigation that former FBI Director James Comey told Congress about before he was fired by President Donald Trump. That includes any links between Trump campaign associates and Russia, as well as "any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation," according to the letter appointing him.

The question isn't whether Hunter Biden was paid for being the son of Joseph Biden. The question is whether Biden used his influence to get his son the job or to apply pressure to the prosecutor to get him to back off the case. For the former no one has produced any evidence and for the latter there is strong evidence that it's not the case.

The pressure was implicit, the connection is implicit and the channeling of millions and millions to the VP son is the Elephant in the room. Then get rid of the prosecutor investigating?

Apart from all that the Ukraine government said no pressure applied. This is yet another false trail aka Russiagate, Mullergate and all the rest. If this fails what next?  Trump in league with Aliens?

The phone call in itself when viewed in isolation is not the issue. You also need to take into account why Trump's team secretly held back promised Ukrainian funding in the days leading up to that phone call. With a Country like the Ukraine on its knees after being invaded by Russia, it needs all the support it can get.

Look at the phone call in context and tell us if you still do not see an issue.

I don't see any issue. Trump withheld many payments to many countries it's part of his platform.

BTW -- the Ukraine affair is NOT a nothing burger. "trump" stinks of guilt.

The Ukraine affair is a nothing burger for Trump but it's got a whole lot of meat for Biden.

Folks, don't you also think that most probably the Dem. candidates other than Biden are really unhappy about this development ? I am saying this because even if this impeachment stuff doesn't get anywhere, all this will help sustain (and maybe even increase) Biden's popularity (as you know, he has had the lead in the Dem. polls for quite some time) due to him being seen as sort of a victim.

A senior Trump administration official told Fox News late Tuesday that the administration will release a document showing the intelligence community inspector general found the whistleblower who leveled an explosive accusation against President Trump concerning his talks with Ukraine had “political bias” in favor of “a rival candidate” of the president".

Also its worth mentioning this so called bias whistleblower had no first hand knowledge of the phone call.
