Two robberies in a day: First is bungled, the second more successful

Sanook reported that a man is believed to have robbed a gold shop in Suphanburi yesterday afternoon after a morning robbery at a building supply shop in Ayuthaya went wrong. 

 

Just after Kingkarn, 45, opened her shop in the Bang Sai area a man wearing mostly black in a full face helmet on a Honda motorcycle came in brandishing a gun. He was also wearing white gloves with a pink shirt under a black jacket. 

 

He demanded that Kingkarn put a million baht in his bag saying his gun was real. 

 

She had 4,500 baht and gave him that. 

 

At this point her mother came out and this scared the robber who ran off dropping 4,000 baht in the process. 

 

He fled in the direction of Suphanburi with just 500 baht to show for the robbery.

 

Later in the day a man of exactly the same description was reported to have held up a gold shop in a large store in Suphanburi. 

 

This time he got 80 baht weight in gold that would be worth around 1.8 million baht, notes Thaivisa.
