bangkok ride share airport???

Featured Replies

has anything changed getting a ride share to or from either of the airports in bkk?  especially from the airport ......to the city.  especially from swampy ............the rules their are entrenched

Ride share could potentially increase your travel time significantly depending upon where other passengers are dropped off, with minimal cost savings.  Cheap taxis and ARL are just fine for me.

i would take private ride share . thus no dropoffs

Grab is much more expensive than taxis for airport runs. Just get a normal taxi from the official queue outside departures.

As I'm sure you know Airport Rail Link is one big ride share...., but then I get that some people need to be more selective.

i have luggage sometimes 3 bags..  if they somehow had carts avail.. to get to train .........from curb and allowed carts on the train or at least as you get right off train.  ALOT MORE PEOPLE WOULD USE TRAIN.  OTHERWISE ITS TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE

I often travel through there with 2 large cases and one cabin case..., albeit all on wheels..., within Swampy(useful in other situations also) you really need wheels man !   ....., especially to get down to the station..., but because it's one of the terminus stations..., but theres a need to be first in line(sometimes I let one train go) and onto the train and place your cases in the special rack for just such a thing. Yes, eventually at your destination you'll have to organise the moving of 3 bags..., or simply man(or woman) handle them..., but thats a whole other scenario for you to organise.
Are you travelling with heaps of yoga cushions, mats, ropes, blocks...., or some such ?
