I'm completing my son's first British Adult Passport. But have got confused and stuck with the supporting documentation. And wondered if anyone could help with clarifications.

I have the following documents:

1) British Birth Certificate that says under his name claim to citizenship - S2(1) (a) British Nationality Act 1981

2) Thai Birth certificate (With Translation)

3) Marriage Certificate (With Translation)

4) My British Birth Certificate

5) School Report

6) His Thai ID Card

The key question is I suppose does the British Birth Certificate count as the certificate of registration?

ifnot then I'm stuck as my wife does not have a birth certificate. Her parents were never issued one, when she was born so can't provide that.

I've been going through this for too long and gotten confused. Any advice appreciated.
