You surely are ‘t that gullible to fall for the still photograph used in your first clip to imply JHB and Cleverley where in the same studio when the interview took place are you.

The empty chairing was done about 20 mins before the JHB interview where Cleverley phoned in from Millbank which is also where Kay Burley does her show from hence her comment that he was only about 15 feet away. Seems pretty clear he chickened out after the Piers Morgan interview  he did just before where he tried to defend his fake video.

Methinks he was probably tied up with damage limitation re the Welsh Secretary that we mear mortals didn't yet know about.

The Tories haven't had a good week. Thankfully Abbot/Thornbury/McDonut will bail them out in the next few days.

To be fair to Kay Burley she has just interviewed Ian Austin, former Labour MP, and he has absolutely savaged Jeremy Corbyn with no minced words at all. With the Tom Watson resignation overnight it looks like Labours turn in the wringer today.

Only to be expected in this election.  Don't think either main party will play a straight bat any time soon.  Deceit and lies will drive their campaigns.  Politics have always been a dirty business but never to this level.  How can anyone vote for these cretins?

With Corbyn in charge Labour haven't got a hope in hell of winning this election which leaves us with the abysmal Tory Party who will likely win by default.  Then we will have years of lying and ducking and diving by these morons.

Time for me to start looking seriously at sunny Spain!

This says more about the intelectual level of the British (voters): not willing to check facts, and NOT to vote on liars, swindlers etc.

Pity the UK has the "winner takes it all" system, so, voting for the "smaller" parties = your vote evaporates. So, it is OR Liars on the right OR commies on the Left. Maybe, the Lib Dem-Green confederation of parties can get so many seats, they can give a breakthough to a normal election system in which any vote counts for the whole of the UK. SNP will not support as might let them lose next Scotish election for the same reason

Still waiting for your explanation why this is nonsence.

do you mean that all MPs should be picked from 1 constituency only? the UK constituency?

The Conservatives don’t even launch their campaign until later today and they already look like a car crash in motion. After the gaff above Cleverley was supposed to go on Sky but refused to be interviewed so ended up being empty chaired. After Rees-Moggs disaster yesterday they seem to just keep digging.

We live in hope and die in despair. Best to die fighting rather than cravenly crawling to the beat of the Tory elitist drum.

The reality is comrade Corbyn has no chance of winning ????

The reality is that Russia and Putin backs Johnson not Corbyn. No doubt they'll be playing their part in pulling the wool over the eyes of the mental midgets amongst the electorate, as they did in 2016.

An interesting spat between J H-B and Kay Burley:

Abbot was (even) quicker than expected! ???? (I'd given her until Sunday, assuming it would be her turn on Marr/Ridge) :

And the winner is....Kay Burley! It was always said that he ducked her interview as she had some particularly awkward questions for him and is knownfor not letting people off the hook.

I'm no fan of hers but what exactly did she say that was wrong?
