10,000 posts eh? If each post only takes on average one minute to type ( rediculously short period I agree, but lets keep it short) that amounts to just under a week of life on Earth.

tlw Earth.

Now there's a great leap of faith....Human ? tlw.

Only five posts today, well six including this, must be a real slow news day.

Cheer up, only four days to the weekend. :o

Weekend tlw.

Well, I'm gonna leave it at 406 for today,

My best mate just sms'd saying he's in England, and specifically, coming to Cambridge to take me out to lunch.

As he';s with his other half, and he has no reason to be in england except me, his best mate, I feel it's gonna be one of them convo's about rings and ceremonies, which will mean I'll have to come up with a best man speech celebrating that another of my mates bites the bullet to the fairer sex, but hey...

Laters amigo's

What have the french given the world? What is their contribution?

Erm, the 2CV?

All I want for Christmas is the last word

I'm sure ( at the risk of being repetitive ) you'll get it.

Maybe tlw.

Only 210 days to Christmas.

But this is no joke, last weekend in a shopping mall in KL they were playing Good King Wenceslas! :o

According to the Telly last night, it was 7 degrees at the test match in the UK and play was stopped by hail !!!!

Xmas has come early tlw

That's OK we'll forgive you.

That is a perfect example of British weather, everywhere else in the world has a climate but Britain has weather. It was introduced after the war to give the people something to complain about and take their minds of the fact that there was nothing to eat.

Another use for British weather is to give British farmers an excuse to up the prices.

The winter is always too wet/dry/warm/cold* and is followed by spring which as always too wet/dry/warm/cold* and then comes the summer which is always too wet/dry/warm/cold* and finally autumn (fall) which is always too wet/dry/warm/cold*.

Under new rules CB, that's your lot in Bedlem. Any further feeble attempts at getting TLW will be deemed repetitious, and some form of Board Inquisitor ( or <deleted> ) will come down heavy on your Perch.

Warned tlw.

When I was last in Samui I was chatting to a guy who had pretty good English. He was asking me all about the UK, how big, how many people, etc. Then he asked a corker "So when's your rainy season?" He looked surprised when we tried to tell him, anytime, sometime, all the time, never...

scottish rainy season runs from January to December...

And for the rest it has intermittent showers

tlw inclement
