Why are there so many farang lefties in Thailand
I don't agree that Thailand is a right-wing country. As for why there are more expats here of a liberal nature, I believe it is because liberals are just more open to new things, new ideas, new ways of doing things, new ways of thinking. Gay marriage? Yes. Trans rights? Yes. Social programs and safety nets? Yes. Environmental protection? Yes. Health care for everyone and not just those who can afford it? Yes. Liberals are just more open to change. Period. And, what could be a bigger change than picking up stakes and moving to a different country on the other side of the world? -

Which Policies do you support?
Insurance companies are there to make a profit on risk, and adjust their premiums accordingly. I have never taken out travel insurance. The one time a travel glitch did cost me, it was a fraction of what it would have cost if I had insured myself every time I traveled. Having said that, insurance companies are fully aware of climate change, and are adjusting premiums already. It won't be long before vulnerable bush and coastal properties will have to be self-insured, because no company will take on the risk. Or the premiums are so high people can't afford to live there anymore. -

Temu's Takeover: Thai E-commerce Expert Issues Price War Warning
They don't profit from the prices of the cr@p sold. So what's the business model? Spyware (I wouldn't want "code that bypasses any security scanners")? Some say they grab your data for advertising, and that's the business model. No time to think about it, I must hurry to buy a multi-functional mouse-trap that can also be used as a stereo receiver or as a bum gun, 99 Baht. -

Why is Milk So Pricey In Thailand?
that is also due to all the fast food joints here now....in the 70's, there were none at all and most of the Thais were shorter and non-fat...to see a fat Thai then was amazing to say the least! -
