I was told after going through all the BS at Land Transport that I couldn't sell my car without 30 days left on my visa. I am not living in Thailand now. This was during a recent visit on Visa on arrival. Had a car dealer who wanted to buy it, bought the resident permit, paid for the inspection then "Sorry Buddy". A very good lawyer I used to buy my condo years ago said "she believed that I needed a Non immigrant O to buy or buy or sell a vehicle.

Does anyone know how this all works. I am pretty sure I was still on a retirement visa when I bought it. My feeling, as I was told numerous times in the past, easy to bring anything in but hard to get it out. I would appreciate first hand info only.  Thanks. This is CM.
