Good Hotel Near British Embassy Bangkok

Wondered if anyone could recommend a nice comfy hotel for under 1000b a night close to the British Embassy

Think 'good' and under 1000 b do not go together around there.

There are a few past the Grace in Soi 3 Nana.

Or go over to Pratunam if you like a walk. 2-3 km.

I would not advise soi 3 for a single female. Perhaps a better choice under 1,000 baht would be Bangkok City Inn across from the World Trade Center. I have not stayed there but it is a much better part of town and should be easy to get to Embassy from there either by foot, taxi or skytrain. LINK
