Bangkok plans cycling lanes to ease congestion in key districts
No, you are right. Cycling in Thailand is not dangerous at all. Your post is just 1 big dumb rant and very insulting. Did you have a bad day Forgot your chill pill? Only people with a death wish ride their bikes in Thailand and you are one of them Don't come crying when you end up in hospital. -

British man arrested for selling drugs to foreign tourists in Chiang Mai
Stitched up by his Thai partner and the police. The confiscated drugs will be resold and the Thai will have new ''business partners'' Rinse and repeat! I know somebody who attempted to go into a cannabis business with a Thai. He was ripped off before it even got off the ground. (Probably did him a favor). -

Bangkok plans cycling lanes to ease congestion in key districts
I don't understand the negativity about biking in Bangkok. It's actually a fairly pleasant experience - there are bicycle lanes in some areas and where there are none, it is permitted on the sidewalks. Typically pedestrians and bicycles co-exist already without a lot of difficulty. 1) folding bicycles allowed on the trains 2) most sidewalks can accommodate and where they can't, it's possible to walk the bike past the area 3) pedestrians know how to keep out of the way (i.e. the movement of bikes is predictable to people who are walking) 4) the speed isn't so high as to be particularly dangerous (relative to motorcycles on the sidewalks) -

Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My - How will Trump's Fascist Dictatorship Affect You?
Well, it is seven days after the U.S. election and I am still on an incredible high. I just have to pinch myself to believe that it is real and that the United States is no longer going to be ruled by the left wing socialist Democrats. Life is good! -

Thai Hotels Alarmed by Foreign Business Practices
I use 3-4 star hotels and find that the service I get is just as good as the 5 star. The difference in a lot of cases is simply the name on the marquee. The buildings are newer shiner and have nicer amenities. I think the diferenceis that the 5 star is that they are international brands. It is just like macDonalds and other international brands. People know what they get in their home country and want to be quaranteed a great stay. As to bookings 3 star hotels need to be advertising to Thai's and outlining nicer things. A lot of people just want to kmow that they are going to get an enjoyable time. Then again you have Thai hotels that renovate and because they do jack the prices (thin Montien in Silom) -

Thanks for that. Seems it's always a flip of a coin, whether anyone will post useful replies.
