Ston Kong-Ngern, chief of the wildlife checkpoint at Don Mueang airport revealed today (December 17) that shortly after 1am this morning, airport police and customs officers discovered 95 Indian star tortoises in luggage belonging to Lai Tsung-Yun, 38, and Lu Chiao 37 as it passed through the X-ray scanner.

The pair, who were returning home to Taipei, were arrested and their case is being handled by local police.
