I thought UbonJoe may know something about this.I was just talking to a bloke who lives in Maha Sarakam.He had a few nights in Udon and went to MHS immigration today with his missus to do an update.He was told it's no longer needed.

He said he questioned them as far as he could and they told him it'd been dropped countrywide..I can only hope this is true.It wont restrict my internal travel plans as it has previously.

 

There were reports (many) that some imm offices had decided only required for international travel. In any event I don't do any until I need to attend immigration for example annual extension. I did my extension in Oct. I took along a tm30 for a re-enter from Vietnam couple days prior to attending imm. The io at CW did not ask for or look at my receipt of tm30
