    Pai is always a mess  around these times. I am not surprised it was 471 a few days ago.

    I was there a few years back and my air sensor meter locked at 500, it wasn't engineered to go higher (lol)

     

    here are before and after pictures from same location, I don't think that the second one is a 400+ day but it must have been close
    I have added a black line on second where the mountain should be and third one is what you can see from the sun in the morning over the mountain

     

    note the state of the trees, this is not a long time apart, maybe a few weeks but that tree lost almost all its leaves

    '...that tree lost almost all its leaves' - I think these are teak trees.

    Normal to throw off the leaves in winter.
