Dutch Film Star On Stage In Driving Miss Daisy

Featured Replies

Dutch film star Pamela Teves, is in Chiang Mai and starring in The Gate Theater's revival of Driving Miss Daisy. We attended a dress rehearsal this evening and though her American southern accent isn't perfect, she makes up for it with shear talent and emotion! I saw this play at The Gate 5 years ago and it was great. This production won't let anybody down and it's appropriate for the entire family. Read about Ms.on her IMBd page. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0856663/

Never heard of her, never seen her on dutch tv....perfect!

Never heard of her. Not a big star back home for sure.

Made the mistake of going to one of their performances once, only once. Dull, boring, amateurish ( because they are). No better than your local repertory company in the village hall back home!

Care to be a little more specific? That is certainly not the experience I've had over a number of years in attendance at Gate theater performances. However, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. They've been in operation for 12 years so something must be right with them.
