Paint Recommendation

Featured Replies

I am going to paint my house ceiling and walls which are not that dirty but need  a freshen up. Can anyone recommend a good paint that i can get away with just one coat?

The effectiveness of a paint depends a lot on the state of the support.

If you want do just one coat and be sure of the result i recomand you to

avoid the first prices (The less expensives paints are rarely a good bargain)

paticularly if you don't have a big surface to cover.

If possible do a try first with a small box in the medium range prices

cover just a small part of the room not too visible and look after 1 day

how it turns, If the result is ok then you can buy the big box of the same brand\color.

(Be sure there is enough stock of big boxes in the brand you chose in the shop when you buy the small one)

My go to paint that has served me well over the years and given good results is "4 Seasons".

If the color difference is not much, any premium grade paint should be good with one coat.  Even if your walls are not that dirty, they will need cleaning before paint application.  And, if Thai's will be doing the job, don't let them thin out the paint.
