Craig says No Time To Die is his last Bond film

The producer of the James Bond films has said she is not "interested" in the spy being played by a woman.

No Time To Die, which is released on 2 April, will be Daniel Craig's last outing as 007.

There had been speculation that the next actor to play him would be female but Barbara Broccoli dismissed this.

Speaking to Variety she said: "He can be of any colour, but he is male.

Can we also agree that he likes women and they like him and he is heterosexual?

And for the record: I have no problem if her majesty recruits any other gender for another 00x ????

A Scarlette Johansen 007 would not bug me at all. Or even 069. Whatever number she wants.

I think the current James Bond is the best there has been. Worst by far was Roger Moore. Second place, Connery.

Stupid headline,  in the new Bond film 007 IS female.  Should have said that BOND will always be male.  S. Connery was the bond for his time D. Craig is (was) the Bond for this era,  all the others, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan were just place holders.

I AM waiting for James Bond to be a black male with a white husband ,is disabled and has had a sex change operation ,thus covering most of the criteria for a tv show or a movie  these days.

just watched the latest Midsomer Murders, amazing how a village managed to have so many people of colour in it,why it even had a black gay guy whose husband had passed away ,a black vicar and a black guy with a white girlfriend old enough to be his mother,????

Have you noticed in MM that there are always 3 murders before the dumb cops work out whodunnit?

not Daniel Craig ...  Roger Moore is the only James Bond    !!!

Ugh. Connery made James Bond the legend he is. Moore played him for laughs. Brosnan- waste of space. Craig has done a reasonable job of keeping the legend alive in a PC world, though too sympathetic to women- they even made him fall in love- shame on them.

This is obviously in response to the fact that Dr Her for Dr Who has not gone over well.

I'm happy to hear that. The insanity has gone on too long. The producers need to lose their shirts to learn the lesson.

Scarlette Johansen 007

her mojo is gone since she cut her and became an outspoken feminist (a.k.a - "Strong independent woman who slept her way thru hollywood")

I am amazed this rubbish is still popular, last one I went to see was you only live twice in 1967, and the best thing about that was the song

A Scarlette Johansen 007

To be Bond, whoever the actor is has to sleep with a lot of people, women have the disadvantage of being seen as sluts if they sleep around, while men are regarded with respect ( by other men ) if they nail as many women as possible ( PC men can keep their opinion to themselves ). I'd guess that'd change with a female Bond so it wouldn't be Bond anymore, but someone else entirely.

well... that would really suit Angeline Jolie...

then just don her TombRaider guns, and complete the scene
