Fray Bentos Corned Beef, chilled in the fridge, cut into thick slices between two thick slices of heavily buttered brown bread and lashings of HP Brown sauce.

...my kingdom for simple slice of crispy bacon and a fresh salad that includes some form of lettuce.  Yeah, apparently my comfort foods have temporarily changed.

I've got bacon in the fridge, good idea bacon sarnie for tea with some home made bread I baked yesterday.

Mine would be a bacon sandwich with pickled beetroot and HP sauce .

I wish I could replicate my mothers corned beef hash or my grandmothers rice pudding ☹️

Love me some beetroot, I like the sliced tin stuff on a croissant with some tasty cheese and then toasted in my panini press.

Yes the beetroot is not easily found here , but worth trying if you do come across some, has to be pickled though not the tasteless boiled stuff my ex used to make !!

Is there any time in your life you have abstained from cheese?

There is a cheese shop at the home of golf, St. Andrews, in the township. It has a floor of wooden slats with water running underneath to keep all the cheeses on display moist. When I walked into the shop, I got high on cheese just by inhaling.

You really need to visit King Island, Australia, for the brie, camembert and blue brie they make there. It comes from cows breathing the cleanest air in the world, grazing on grass with no additives.

Bbq chicken.

Not very original but I could have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And often do.

The stuff you buy roadside.

Chorizo and black olives

What are you confused about Steve, chorizo & olives is no worse than ham & pineapple on a pizza.

Pizza with Vegemite on the base before the toppings and cheese.

Don't laugh until you've tried it.

More wisdom from my Daddy: Apple Pie without a slice of cheese is like a kiss without a squeeze.

Stilton on thin crackers, kill me now.

A humongous plate of proper sherpherd's pie, cooked with lamb mince, red wine and fresh thyme.

That looks yummy. Tea with milk! But Brit, ya skimped on the bacon. Is it real bacon or the Thai kind?

Real, with the rind on, made by the chap that owns Gekko Garden, I buy 1Kg from him every month.

Real Ham comes from  a smoke house in  Smithfield Virginia or sliced, from Boars Head Meats.

paste for a school project?

That looks like luncheon meat. And French's - forget that. If you enjoy it though fair play to you, I wouldn't eat it.
