The Check list of documents required by UK Visas & Immigration states that all documents provided to support the application must in English and must be certified.   Would I be correct in thinking that this refers to the stamp of the translator that the document is 'certified as a correct translation' and nothing more?

That certainly worked for me.

 

 

I used a local guy who operates a translation service; I suspect that if you used Somchai from the village shop it might not work.
