I read the extraordinary story in the paper yesterday of Keith Richards snorting the ashes of his father along with cocaine. Then I realised it's not long since April 1 and perhaps the story had taken time to emerge.

I would like to ask fellow members if they believe it, and have they ever heard of anything more outrageous from rock stars. I wonder what Keith's mum thinks of it , if she's dead she'll either being turning in her grave or spinning in an eggtimer wondering when her turn is due. And if she's still alive, well, the poor lady must be lost for words.

The mars bar story is a myth! However, Keith snorting his dad's ashes (I heard mixed with some blow) is most likely true. And why not!

There was a CNN snippet last night where KR admitted it was just a bad joke.

Guess it was just a joke to deliver to news reporters what they expect to hear. KR is weird, but not THAT weird...

I remember years ago when a "journalist" asked Jagger "What are you into now Mick , you know ,

sexually". Jagger leered and replied "Donkeys".

Now there may have been some truth in that.

Check with The Real Frank Zappa Book (written by FZ himself), where it says on page 14 (the Chapter "How Weird Am I, Anyway?")

I never took a shit on stage, and the closest I ever came to eating shit anywhere was at a Holiday Inn buffet in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 1973.
