PHUKET:-- A Russian man who died while under close care of doctors at Vachira Phuket Hospital for 14 days did not die from COVID-19, Hospital Director Dr Chalermpong Sukontapol told the press today (Mar 9).

The man, Ilyas Karimov, 64, was pronounced dead from severe pneumonia at 9am on Feb 29, Dr Chalermpong explained.

“He did not die from COVID-19. We did not find the COVID-19 virus in his body,” Dr Chalermpong confirmed by phone call to The Phuket News this evening.

I don't know what he died from, It could be that the officials ar lying or it could be that he died from something else.

let's remember that just because there is a CoronaVirus it does not mean that people will stop dying from other things.

There is every reason to doubt the figures for infections rates and deaths being churned out by official sources. And some of the computer models of where the outbreak may be heading look as fanciful and alarmist as those produced by the UN's climate change panel.

We need to learn the lessons of previous "pandemics" - not least from the 2009 H1N1 swine flu outbreak. Infection statistics turned out to be "wildly exaggerated" and courts were subsequently besieged by claimants alleging brain damage from the vaccine.
