As I see it, Thailand only have 2 options:

 

1. Send in the Military and do a Wuhan-like lockdown.

2. Let the virus spread and face a very high death rate.

 

No matter what Thailand will be economically destroyed by this. This is going to take months to get over and many will die. Lets all hope the virus does not mutate to something worse. If so, we are all in much much more trouble.

Government policy was announced to be keeping airports open (under guidance from WHO).

 

I have not seen any indication that anything more than usual entry requirements apply.

 

Government concern seems to be that airlines and other countries will choose to stop services.

 

FCO Travel advice announced BA to stop flying on 29th.

 

Thai Airways have cut a lot of flights (via mainland Europe) to UK from 7th April, but non-stop not among them.

Is time to throw all the mists about Corona over board, and open the eyes for the real thing. Forget about the hot climate will prevent (your body temperature which is essentially for the virus remains 37 Celsius in hot or cold weather), mask will prevent (they are only really helpful if you are infected not to spray the virus), there are medication's available (those are only tested and might help or might not).

Best is to isolate yourself as much as possible, personal hygiene (specially wash your hands), sanitize and clean surfaces; and for the party-goers: Alcohol is NOT killing the virus in your body...
