The 31 July amnesty was not official until it was printed in the Royal Gazette, which as far as I know, only happened today.

    USA only want "a copy of the biodata page of your passport", meanwhile as a Brit I felt obliged to write an essay justifying why I deserve such a letter as well as the several items they requested.
