She can sing and perhaps write songs, and she's pretty. Doesn't take much more than that to succeed in that sort of career. I could have worked in the Australian mines and got very rich, but I chose to work as a nurse for a pittance to help sick people instead. How many people did you help in your life? I helped thousands. -

Aseannow 🙂 why aren’t you reporting how friendly the new government is towards cannabis?
I'm not concerned about it staying possible to smoke weed too, which is good for me, but in terms of the shops or the business as a industry I think it is sad to see that all once again ends up being owned by a few. Even it provides jobs, the majority of profits just go in some black hole. -

It was far from the best result at the time, it was one of the worst results. Of course whilst Churchill approved the Morgenthau plan, which would have starved 32 million Germans to death, he also sanctioned the ethnic cleansing of 14 million Germans from the East, where huge numbers died, often tortured to death. You're trying to relativize Churchill actions by saying all were monsters, try doing that with Hitler and what he did, and see what response you'd get. But I broadly agree, it was a time of war and death was everywhere, and clearly this affects everyone's decisions. Nevertheless, Churchill has a lot of blood on his hands. -

Smart Home automations - anybody using?
About 3d printers - not really about this thread. I have an Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ which is very good. I use it from time to time to print thinks which I construct myself and which are not available to buy. Recently my Toshiba rice cooker's closing mechanism (a plastic part) was damaged. I looked and found a 3d print. Great. So I printed it, and it fit. But unfortunately, when the rice cooker was hot id deformed. (yes, I used the recommended material). At the end I searched the usual shopping sites and bought the original Toshiba part which works just fine. What I learned from that: Yes, it's possible to do a lot with 3d printers. But sometimes it is best to just buy the original part - if it is available. -

That Kopiko Macchiato coffee looks a little too sweet. 11 gms of sugar . That's almost 3 teaspoons. 5/7 gms is more like it for me.
